I tried out Verizon
Wireless Smart Rewards and have tried to use my points to buy Daily Deals and for Auctions.. On multiple occasions I have waited for the Daily Deal to become available and have watched the countdown clock reach zero and have clicked on Add to Cart and the majority of times Ive done that I have received errors, the item not being added to my cart, the website suddenly crashing and other issues such as those making it almost impossible to get the deal even though I have tried to get the deal the second it becomes available. I have called and complained multiple times and have received countless excuses as to why I was unable to get the deal...all of the excuses being that something was wrong on my end or that my internet isnt fast enough or my computer is too slow and many other excuses as to how it was my fault that I wasnt able to get the deal..Not once did they provide a definitive explanation as to how to correct my so called problems in order to be able to get a fair chance to get the deal along with every other customer..I even did the things they told me to do as to fix my so called problems such as logging in and out of my acct before the auctions and deal of the end starts and using a wired internet connection in order to ensure a dedicated fast internet connection.. None of which worked.. I then asked for a solution to this problem but was given none and was only told someone would call me within 3 days to explain what went wrong.. Only once have I gotten one of those calls and all they proceeded to tell me was that it was my fault once again and that there are/were no problems/issues with their system that would cause an error in the Smart rewards program system.. I then asked for the amt of cards available for Daily Deals when a gift card such as the verizon wireless $10 gift card is offered as to have proof that there are an honest and reasonable amt available given the number of registered users they have for the program.. Im tired of trying to win auctions and get Daily Deals if verizon is purposely making it almost impossible to take advantage of their program by limiting quantities of an item in order to keep people from winning and/or getting their daily deal so that they will keep trying and coming back to the site.. Ask anyone that uses verizon Smart rewards and they will tell you its almost impossible to win auctions and sweepstakes and also take advantage of their daily offers.. I have spent well over 100 hours in front of my computer on the smart rewards site to try and win auctions..only to conclude that its almost impossible and based mostly on luck and even by following the instructions given that ensure it is possible to win...it doesnt work.. I have tried to speak to a supervisor multiple times and have magically been disconnected from customer service.. All I want is to be able to use my points and not be scammed over by a computer system that runs this smart rewards program.
