    I recently got my cellular phone service through VERIZON BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!     On July 9th I decided to try and use Verizon DSL. After not being satisfied on how the service was working I decided to cancel it the following day. About two weeks later after cancelling the service no contract I received a bill. The first annoying thing about this bill is that when I was speaking to the representative to get the scheduled date of receiving the service the rep had told me there wasn't going to be an activation installation fee.     My experience with Verizon/FIOS. So I waited until Verizon offered me less per month then cable and did some checking before finally committing to the triple bundle. I was leery about horror stories of bad customer support and I thought I would share what I know so far. (had it 2 weeks) Scheduled install and it was done in 5 days (my choice). Installer was professional, showed up on time and did a nice job installing. Note that they need a power source and like to keep inside if possible.     I am actually enjoying my Fios, which I have through my room mate's account. However, there are two issues I would like to address. The first being that I CAN NOT believe that, of all the features that you offer, Fios does not offer SLEEP TIMER! Really need it! The second issue is that the format that you use for the music channels is kind of ridiculous. The "similar" and "inspired by" posts are usually really off base, the artist playing is not pictured and the artist and song are not posted throughout the song. More...

    I have been a verizon phone customer for years with little to no problem and then... I was talked into ordering FIOS tripleplay - for 6 months I was overcharged, each time I paid a bill they would say I then owed outrageous amounts for the next month, as high as $511 ! Finally bill straightened out and down to 0 but again the outrageous bills, can't get through to billing by phone and when you do they tell me the bill is high because of my inconsistant payments!     my experience with Verizon was frustrating amd expensive. There business model of promoting their new Fios service has promted them to hire inexperienced subcontractors that are poorly trained. after 3 months of inadequate service I cancelled my contract. Fios is only guaranteed for 10 feet from the wireless modem. what good is it if it only works in one room of your house? They don't mention this limitation in their rush to sign up customers. the tv signal froze every few hours and you would have to reboot the system to make it work. the only part of the service that works as...
